In the serene neighborhood of Ayodhya Colony, Karad, a palatial bungalow—Shivam—stood ready to embrace a new identity. This transformation journey brought together the simplicity desired by Mr. V.B. Shinde’s family and the modern sophistication envisioned by Siddharth Shah Associates. The project celebrated not just architectural finesse but also a soulful connection between design and lifestyle.
Client Brief And Objectives
The Shinde family wished for a home that radiated subtle elegance while serving as a functional space for modern living. The primary objectives were:
- A sober yet luxurious interior style.
- Seamless integration of outdoor and indoor spaces.
- Efficient use of the bungalow’s extensive area, ensuring every corner is purposeful.
- Incorporation of sustainable and timeless materials.
Materials and Design Specifications for the Project
The project incorporates Simpolo imported tiles, known for their durability and refined aesthetic. The choice of G7 Nano White marble further elevates the space with its sleek, modern finish. This combination of materials ensures a high-end look while maintaining practicality in high-traffic areas.
Natural veneers will be used throughout the project, adding a touch of elegance and warmth to the design. The solid surfaces will be made from Du-Pont materials, ensuring a refined and durable finish that complements the modern and natural finishes chosen for the project.
The lighting will feature imported fixtures from China, including rimless gypsum soffits that provide a contemporary and clean look. For climate control, Daiken air conditioners will be installed, ensuring energy-efficient cooling. Havel’s fans will be used for optimal air circulation, contributing to a comfortable living environment.
Customized furnishings from Décor, sourced in India, will be used to create a tailored and luxurious atmosphere. The sofa will be from Bentley, reflecting premium comfort and design. The walls will be painted using ICI or Asian Paints, offering a range of finishes to complement the overall interior design.
The project will feature Legrand switches, known for their sleek and durable quality. For bathroom fittings, Kohler CP fittings will be used, ensuring both style and functionality. Fenesta windows will offer quality, durability, and energy efficiency. Dining furniture will be imported from China, bringing a refined, international touch to the space. Schindler’s elevators will be included for convenience and accessibility.
